    Lost Libido...Help!

I have been on citalopram for about a month now and it has destroyed my Libido, is this normal and will it return? Thanks.

Yeah it's normal :( No it won't return unless you come off the citalopram I think we have to weigh up the pros and the cons... if the depression/anxiety is totally unbearable then it's worth taking the meds and foregoing sex for a while... if sex is too important to you, then best stop the meds

It may be worth asking for a different antidepressant .It can sometimes help .Not everyone has this problem although it is common ..Sue x

It does come back, once you have been on a while and it settles down, it returns to normal
