    Re: Flushes.

Hi there, hot flushes or flashes are a horrible symptom of peri-menopause. They seem to come out of nowhere, anytime of the day. Maybe ask at your local pharmacy...there are a few natural remedies like Black Kosch that can help. Obviously, if you are taking anyother meds, check with your doctor before starting anything. Keeping your room cool at night and wearing loose clothing helps, as does taking a small battery operated fan in your bag, and cool wipes. It may well be anxiety though. A hormone test at your doctors can tell if its related to the menopause.

    Re: Flushes.

When I went through the menopause I found it difficult to know whether the symptoms were due to my anxiety or the menopause, but saying that, it does seem to be very much like menopause symptoms, especially the waves of heat coming up from your tummy area. I was on the HRT for 10 years which kept a lot of the symptoms away, but when I came off the HRT the hot flushes returned, but were not as bad. Isn't it fun being a woman?
