Withdrawing from Mirtazapine after 9 weeks

I have been withdrawing from mirtazapine for the past two days. I have only been on them for nine weeks, but didn't think it wise to stop cold turkey as I'm sure my brain and body have adapted to them by now.

I started on Monday night - took 7.5mg and felt fluey yesterday, also had loose bowels - sorry if that's too much information But overall felt fine mentally.
Last night I took 7.5mg and didn't sleep very well - I had a couple of awful nightmares, then waking up with my heart pounding. This morning I still feel a bit fluey, had a couple of what I call scalp shivers, loose bowels, but mentally feel fine. So far I am only experiencing slight physical withdrawals with no mental anxiety.

I will continue with 7.5mg for another couple of nights and then split them and stay at that dose for 3 or 4 days and then hopefully come off them.

Does this sound like a reasonable tapering down plan? I'd be really grateful for any feedback.

That sounds really reasonable Belle, nice and slowly does it.

When I gave them up last time I slowly tapered off and had no real issues at all.
