anyone here take 25mg????

Does anyone here take 25 mg of sertraline for their anxiety and is it effective?? Im asking as i think maybe im takin too much

Definitely not taking too much. Usually the starting dose of sertraline is 50mg then going up to 100mg after a few weeks. I'd say that with 25mg you wouldn't notice too much difference in your anxiety levels.

Compared with other anti-depressants 25mg sounds like a lot but for sertraline it isn't - most doctors don't even prescribe 25mg.

Oh ok, I thought you meant is 25mg too much. How long have you been taking it? Is there a specific reason you think it's too much?

It's not too much, don't cut it to half. Just continue taking 50mg as it is the "usual" therapeutic dose so no need to worry about it.

iv cut down to 25mg 50mg was making me feel worse with anxiety and ocd!! grr x
