Today's appointment was to get me used to going in my home support lady's car, as she is going to be taking me to my psycology appointments. My occupational therapist came too as I usually go out in the car with her.
I usually can get to the clinic and we park outside, but today I wasn't sure how i'd do, partly because it's the first time i've been in my home support lady's car and also because yesterday I was unwell and last night I hardly slept because I had a bad headache. So today I was really nervous and thinking "How much will I be able to do?"
But I did it, we drove again to the clinic and I had a little walk when we got there, she also drove the longer way back home. I have an appointment with a psycologist next Tuesday and don't know how I'll do, but my home support lady is coming to take me to the clinic for 2 more practise runs before the day of the appointment.
So I suprised myself again today, I really didn't know how I'd do and thought i'd probably have to ask them to stop half way there, but I suprisingly felt quite normal once we were driving.
