    Breathing - excessive yawning?

One of my major symptoms is that I think I can't breathe deep enough. I've been told to do breathing exercises and teach my body how to breathe properly.

My problem at the moment is that I'll find that sometimes I'm yawning instead of breathing. My ears will feel stuffy and I'll get a dry mouth sometimes. I've also had a mild head ache for the last 4 days and thought this might be why.

I keep contemplating going to the doctors but it seems like such a silly thing. I keep trying to stop it like it's a bad habit but the more I think about it the more I do it.

    Re: Breathing - excessive yawning?

I am also excessively yawning, to the point my jaw is aching. The yawns are really deep, heavy yawns that sometime make my eyes water as well. I have to go back to the Doctors in a couple of weeks and I am going to mention it to him.

There are various breathing techniques that may help. Breathing in through your nose for the count of 3 and holding for a couple of seconds then breathing out to the count of 5 through your mouth. It helps you lungs open up and it may help.

    Good luck
