    New to Reiki

    Hello to everbody

My name is Amy. I just joined your forum today after deciding to take myself off citalopram and try work through my anxietys and depression wiithout drugs. Recently my daily panic attacks have become debiitatings meaning time spent off work. A collegue at work has arranged some reiki sessions for me and I just wanted to know peoples experiences with this.

    Thanks

    Amy

    Re: New to Reiki

    Hi Amy
I had a few Reiki sessions last year & although i felt relaxed after i did find the whole experience a bit bazzar, the girl i went to kept rubbing the walls, I understand this is not usual practice, very odd!
What i am finding very helpful is Pilates, i do an hour class each week & that night sleep really well, then i do several sessions on my own during the week. not as strenuous as yoga & i find it more relaxing.
I also meditate most Buddhist communities run courses which are very easy to follow but very beneficial.
