anyone with ibs have this?

i was just wondering if anyone who has ibs when it is playing
up does their stools sometimes change colour?

Had to laugh when I saw this simply because I have examined the colour of mine for years and only just been able to stop doing it - seems I was not alone in my habit!!!

You will be fine - when I have an episode of IBS mine tends to go quite pale.

hahahah im glad you just said that coz im always examine mine and i still do i cant help doing it and i thought also that i was the only one that does it.
its good to see that i aint alone in this weird habit

sorry to be so blunt but i noticed small bits of very dark toilet from retum. last couple of days could it be from piles or food i had eaten beetroot a weekend and also black olives.im taking sertraline for the past 6weeks also.holly

yeah Ive noticed that too. I didnt take much notice of it though.

beetroot is a scary one idont eat it anymore coz it changed my poo dark red i thought i had bowel cancer then remembered i had eaten it after worrying for days.
i dont eat it anymore coz it gets me paranoid.

your poo will always change colour depending on what you eat and will always be different sizesxx
