Exclamation Bit by a dog, rabies???? PLEASE HELP!

I was bit by a chihuahua last night on my thigh which is a pretty good bite. It's black and blue, should I be scared of rabies? The dog has an owner so I'm assuming it's vaccinated? The doctor said as long as my tetanus is up to date I'm fine but I also heard if you get rabies it's always fatal unless you start treatment right away! PLEASE HELP

If your tetanus is up to date you will be fine. It is also extremely unlikely the dog would have rabies as unless it is a stray it would be vaccinated. Rabies is extremely rare in the USA.

I was bit by a vole a while back & had to have a tetanus..
That will teach me to rescue small creatures from the jaws of my cat.

All seems to be fine with me...
Apart from the tail that's suddenly appeared...that & the whiskers....
