IPad friendly Chat-room

The main problem is if people want to set up a seperate chat room, then they would have to moderate it themselves as we dont have the staff available to mod two rooms, so it wouldnt be possible to have it anything to do with NMP

Couldn't we use a free chatroom and post the link on here?
I know they are some websites that let you create a chatroom .
Also msn and Skype both work on the iPod , so maybe you could create a new username / email address just to use for that with NMP members ?
I'm not sure if group chat works on smart phones n iPods but you could still have one on one chat

It would still be the same problem. The chat on the site is run by us and can be moderated as part of the site to keep it safe for our members. Obviously other chat rooms exist, but we wouldnt really put links to those as we dont know how safe or controlled they are, and cant moderate two rooms because of the work it would involve.

People can always add each other on skype, facebook chat etc.. seperately from the site if they want to chat on their phones, but looking at the limited replies to this thread, I dont know how popular it would be, or if there would be anyone in there much of the time.
