Started on 5mg of Cit, horrible side effects.

I have taken it before and was fine and they worked really well. Took again this year and they gave me horrendous panic attacks so I was taken off them.

Dr has recommended trying them again starting from 5mg to help reduce side effects, but I took my first dose last night and felt awful. Shaking, nausea, feeling lightheaded, even more anxious and I couldn't sleep. I'm not sure whether to carry on or try something else, I am having horrendous panic attacks every morning and I am at the end of my tether. I can't see a way out.

rocklover go back to your doc! if your having horrendous panic attacks every morning he maybe able to give u something additional to the cit kicks in ? i was the same and i was given diazepan to help take edge of

The first few weeks can be awful :( as above maybe you should see your doc and ask him for something to help until the SEs settle down. Good luck
