    coil help please

    hi can any one put my mind at rest
    i had the coil fitted 4 years ago they seemed to settle my periods at firdt but the 3 and half years down line i kept having spotting and the odd period that lasts about 5 days . but whats really worried me is that they have lost the strings i had to go for a scan and she said its low down but where it should be , my doctor said dont worry about it untill its time to have it taken out
    i have heard horrible storys about how they will get it out and its worrying me so so so much i think about it every day
    has any one had this happen its scarrred me

    I had a coil before having my third child. My strings got lost up there and i had to have a scan. My coil was to far up inside and wasn't in the right place. I had to have a small operation (asleep) when they removed it. But they do have a tool that can hook your strings down while your awake as long as your coil is in the right place, which yours is. It isnt to bad as i lost my strings before.
