is there a difference between anxiety and adrenal fatigue syndrome?

I was just wondering if there are any differences between anxiety and adrenal fatigue? or whether they are one and the same thing? its just I saw some symptoms on adrenal fatigue and they fit me quite well, I am diagnosed with anxiety and depression with the GP.

Anyone have any ideas?

They are not the same thing. There is no such thing as adrenal fatigue syndrome,. Long term anxiety can cause adrenal burnout, which could lead to chronic fatigue syndrome, which I have!!!.
Adrenal insufficiency is a different medical condition, and can be tested for painlessly using the short Synacthen test.

Yw, I went through all that 3 or 4 years back, and convinced myself my adrenals were the source of my anxiety and CFS rather than the other way round,lol
