On my 12th day of taking Citalopram and just wondering if there is an average timescale when I may start to notice some affect its having.
I keep telling myself that it will start having an affect soon, thats just to try to make me feel more positive but I would hope that at some point I do notice something.
I was on fluoxetine a while ago for 3 months and noticed absolutely no change whatsoever in my anxiety.

I think its 2-8 weeks but its different for everyone
Every day is a new battle, you can either fight on, or put up your hands and admit defeat.
I'm on week 3 now and although I have noticed some improvements I'm still not feeling that great. Finding the side effects hard to manage, and hoping they'll kick in soon!!

hi i saw my community mental health team on fri and they told me cit takes 2-3 wks to get in ur system and then another 4+weeks for the dose to stabilise! xx

I started feeling better about a month after and its so worth it i would recommend just giving it time to work properly and hopefully you will feel much better
