Bizzare/strange symptoms of Peri/Menopause?

Hi all, I've just turned 50 and have been peri menopausal for a good few years now. My periods are all over the place and I never know when and for how long! I have GA aswell and am on cit. Suffering with constant back pain at the moment, night sweats come and go but generally everything you've all mentioned too! It's definitely a rough ride but don't really want to go down the HRT route......ah well, maybe only another 10 years of this!!

I used to think I knew what a hot flush was, I have been getting hot for a long time.
But then.... The last month or two.... Oh boy, proper hot flushes.... Sweating buckets... The lot ... Now I really know what they are all about.
They wake me up, keep me awake.... Make me feel cold afterwards.... I am never cold....
Well... Only when I have been having a hot flush & return to normal temperature but am covered in sweat ... So then I end up chilly!
Hopefully they won't last too long.

I suspect I might be starting with perimenopause as I have many of the symptoms described by all of you. I have however in the last 2 - 3 months also started getting the strangest hot glowing fiery sensation just below my left hip, kinda just on my buttock on a single area/spot only. It comes on suddenly, hangs around for a couple of seconds and then goes again - this happens a couple of times a day. Anyone else have/had something similar? Thanks
