I dont know what 'food hospital' is, but I changed my diet drastically to help with stress and anxiety and it helped considerably.
I cut out
all dairy
all fatty meat
all acid foods fizzy drink, tomatoes, caffeine, alcohol etc
cut way down on bread
all processed food
all sugars including fruits with high sugar content- bannanas, apples etc
ate lots of
whole grains
really trim meat - chicken breast
green tea
included things that provided B vitimins
eat the same thing for breakfst everyday
eat regularly and eat things that have a slow GI, never get really hungry.
Probably a few other things too that I catn think off cause it is all so normal to me now, I started this two years ago and it took 6 mths to start to work and I would NEVER go back to eating the old stuff.
HiI try to stay away from processed foods and dairy,I eat lot of fish and asian green.Coming from middle east it is hard for me to stay away from Persian Candy, very sweet.(maybe that is why I cannot sit still today...lol

How long before you felt back to normal? I keep thinking I'm never gonna feel any better x
Sorry, 'Food Hospital' is a TV programme in the UK at the mo which is aiming to treat conditions by diet alone. They had a woman with bad depression who had a lots of progress by diet changes.
I don't eat things with refined sugar, or meat or fizzy drinks, alcohol or coffee. Try to stay wholemeal although I do eat a lots of carbs.
Thanks very much for this
Some interesting points raised. My problem is I have chronic cravings for classic "comfort foods" especially dairy products and sometimes my life is so dreary I plan my day around eating these "treats". I don't have the same enthusiasm for lentils and wholemeal rice. Plus I look at Gillian Mckeith's face and wonder is it all it's cracked up to be this healthy eating lark.
But I know I need to make changes, he said after the third cup of strong coffee this morning!
Later I am bound to crash, that's for sure...
