    Coffee/Caffeine and anxiety - good/bad/negligable?

    Was wondering how you've experienced caffeine affect your anxiety. Most places on the internet say that caffeine will make anxiety worse by keeping you stimulated, but i've also found lots of sources saying that it increases the production of Seratonin, which is the chemical people with OCD don't have enough of, and probably other anxiety types.

    Also, it seems to be quite beneficial for me.

    Any thoughts?

    makes me hyper... i avoid when I'm feeling anxious.

    Yes caffeine is bad if you already have anxiety.. If your anxiety lasts for 2 more months like this you probably have Generalized Anxiety Disorder..

    has a bad effect on me, makes me hyper, i avoid it altogether x
