medication and anxiety

Hi All

I am taking Propranolol at the moment for my anxiety... I also want to take diazepam. Can I take the two medications together?

The dose of the Propranolol is 10mg but I have also been prescribed 40mg dose of the drug. can you please advise if I can take half of the propranolol so that it is a 20mg dose.

Only a Dr can give you medical advice or a chemist about medications but I have been on them both at the same time though the diazepam was only for a week, the long term I have no idea so see your Dr.

you could try ringing nhs direct they'll tell you for sure
