My heart started racing. I mean racing I didn't know it could go that fast! I was shaking. Felt dizzy and faint and though I was dying! Surely there must be something more serious or was it a panic attack? I am now worrying about having another one! Can anyone share ther thoughts?

Sounds like a panic attack to me but if you are worried visit your gp for peace of mind and reassurance xx

I probably would but I have been there a fair bit lately I'm a bit embarrassed.

It doesn't matter, I'm there all the time too, it's what they're there for if you are worried about going just give them a ring and speak to them x

I was in the shower. Shocking I know. I had a small reaction to a shampoo a while ago and so now I always worry. If I get another I will probably make an appointment. I have had them before just never with a heart rate like that so that's why it worries me mor than usual I think.

Definitley sounds like a panic attack to me. It is 2.50am in the morning and I have just woken up with the same symptoms. It is so scary but go and see your gp anyway for peace of mind

Ever since this i am still experiencing shoe of breathe. And a weird sensation in my chest throat and stomach and I keep coughing randomly? Normal I think its because I'm worried about having another one??

I had that for weeks after my first attack, felt like a lump was in my throat, it goes away after a while x
