hi if anyone wants to e mail me im a newbie to this suffered for years thought i was over it until yest at work had to do a task out of the ordinary and completely was overcome by panic resulting in losing my job and having to own up to suffering panic attacks as im in a trusted position my thoughts were totally irrational when panic struck including wanting to throw myself in front of a car anything was better than feeling the way i did but decided no work for time being incase i put anybody else in danger whilst having an attack.I overcame so much in the past and now feel a complete failure and back to square 1 .

I live in Derbyshire but I am happy to email, pm or chat with anyone from any area.
I had severe anxiety & panic attacks(taking Citalopram for it now which helps ) and agoraphobia - but I still try my best to get out apart from some days when I just can't face it - but I do get out if I am with someone, social anxiety (Cit is helping with this) and sometimes I get really down but not for long.
Would love to hear from anyone 30's upwards, female or male.

I'd love to have an email penfriend or to find a friend in the Essex area who suffers from General anxiety disorder like me. Im 42 and have 3 kids (ages 16, 14 and 2.. yeah big gap lol). My anxiety can be very mild at times and I live a fairly normal life but always worry when i'm faced with spending time with people who don't know me or about my anxiety as the worry over having an attack tends to trigger one so would be great to get to know somebody who truly understands how disabling it can be when it's bad.

Looking to meet some ppl in the same boat as myself who can understand... I am 29 living in scotland. Have 4 kids aged 8,6,3 & 8weeks. Have struggled with panic/anxiety for 5years on and off, did manage to beat it without meds but it came back at the end of my last pregnancy so I am now on citalopram. Partner doesnt understand and thinks its I am off my head and just lazy. Its hard to make new friends and socialise ect when you are like this. x
