Tablets (Thyroxine) tasting different from the last batch?

I've got a meds question which is concerning me a little. I'm thinking alot of you in here are taking meds for different things, do they ever taste different from the last batch?
I've been taking 100mg of Levothyroxine and they've alays tasted fine, but the one I had this morning from a brand new packet tasted really salty and bitter, I can still taste it now half an hour later in my mouth which is nothing i've ever experienced with them before. I'm worried there's too much salt or sodium in, but they do say my dosage on the packet. Am i just being silly or should i call the pharmacist?

I would ring the pharmacist Miss Moose to be on safe side .
Chances are that the tablets are made by a different pharmaceutical company .
Sure it will be fine ....but it will reassure you and you are not being silly at all x

Thank you I've rang the Pharmacist and he said what you said, companies can make them in different ways so they taste different. He might be able to swap them on Wednesday for me.
I'm feeling really faint now, which happend when I was panicking on the phone, and isn't uncommon for me to feel like this, ut now i'm worried it's the meds
