Really scared about starting up on Prozac tonight!

So yday my Dr placed me on Prozac as I came off paroxtine cold turkey 6 months ago and my anxiety is now sky high again!

So tonight I'm going to take my first tablet as we all know the first week or so is awful on any anti-depressent and my anxitey and OCD feed off my fear of suicide and depression so when I start these I get the worry of ' Is it going to make me depressed etc' and will I loose my mind!?

I was going to start them after christmas but I guess it makes no difference as either way Im going to feel shit being this anxious! Don't get me wrong I hae been worse!

How did the start up of prozac go for you x

It's very tough but it's changed my life! You'll be fine - Can you not wait 2 days though? That way you know it definitely won't effect your Christmas.

I can't say I remember any side effects when starting them to be honest

no side effects at all and that was on 40mg.

That's good to know I'm hoping to that the side effects aren't as bad as I hae taken them before.... thought I was okay today until as I lasted around a few shops to my Nans then when I got in Waitrose my hands went tingly then bam panic attack! x
