Hi i had the mirena coil abut 5 yrs ago and omg ive never felt pain like it when i had it fitted well apart from labour!! and they must know its painfull as before hand another nurse told me to hold her hand whilst the doctor fitted it!! im just warning yu cause i wasn't prepared for actually how painfull it was going to be, i also had cramping ans spotting for about a month after and then it all calmed down and i didn't have another peroid again until i had it removed!! xx
