    will a reduced mirtazapine dose help

    i was precribed mirtazapine for help with sleep and eating,it seemed to help to begin with but now its starting to go ,would a reduced dose help get the apetite back?????....
    now i just feel sedated all the time with no get up and go,and its making me feel low..........im due to see my doc on Friday so hopefully she will help

    I have spent a lot of time on these forums in the past couple of weeks - and from what I can see we all seem to have good days and bad days. WIth regards to appetite, when i started taking Mirt I was really hungry all the time. What I did notice was the day I was a bit tense and anxious, my appetite was less and stomach was also upset. I would go to your doctor and discuss your situation, but at the same time, if possible try to remain as relaxed as you can, the more you obsess (this is my experience) the more it will affect your appetite.
