Toilet phobia!

I'm hoping that i'll find that i'm not alone in this!

I can't remember when it started exactly, but i've had a toilet phobia for quite a long time now - it's not so bad that I can't sit down, I can, but once i've sat down all that goes through my mind is what might happen, the toilets that have the water coming into the basin (half flooded like) I can not sit down on at all because of a fear of something....but I don't know what the fear is.

I hope this makes sense and doesn't sound silly

i have a type of toilet phobia- if you look it up online people usually mean by "toilet phobia" that they have a social phobia that means they cant go to the toilet (no.1, no 2., or both!) where other people can hear them and stuff like that. however when i've looked it up online i've definitely seen people who say the same thing as you, they are phobic of the actual loo. so you're definitely not alone, and you don't sound silly at all. so i hope that's some comfort at least? by the way, i dont think anyone likes to sit on a half flooded loo, so thats not just you either!
