Its my 30th birthday next weekend and I got swept up in the excitement of everything and invited people to my house before we all go out. I might manage that but now I'm thinking they are going to want to come back to my house after for the night and that I cannot handle. Why couldn't I just let it slide by and not make a big deal of it??? I can't have them stay in my house, I just can't manage having them in my space esp at night time. None of them know so don't want to have to explain, what am I going to do?

Just say you feel really tired or something your home is your own personal space and if you don't want them back then don't give in or be pressured as 1 drink will turn into 2 etc etc, just have a lovely night and relax! Happy bday in advance!!!!!

So had people in the house for 3 hours and then we went off to a club. I was mostly uncomfortable but I managed it

The important thing now is not to let too much time go by before you do something like this again. Its got to be regular thing.
