I know, well cool rabbit isn't it. Rabbits ARE clever you know !!!
I've had to do that to my male rabbit when cutting his claws robinbrum !
It is often called 'trancing' and most bunnies will do it when tipped on their backs, it is a 'prey response', kind of like playing dead to something that has captured them. Opinion is divided on if it is stressful or relaxing for the rabbit, but most people only do it if and when it is necessary to trim claws and do some sort of physical check.

my daughters used to wrap their rabbits in a towel and put em in their dollies high chairs and pretend they were babies,lol now theyre too old and too big.....all the feeding,caring and cleaning has been left to me!!! i couldnt part with them though...they are so cute!
