Please help-anyone else had this??

Hi, Haven't been on this site for a while. Have had a bit of a year, my 16 marriage ended in divorce, got made redundant, therefore my HA has returned with a vengance Life is slowly settling, have a new job & new man. We have been sleeping together for a while, but over xmas I bled after sex. Went to see GP, who said I had a tear, he also did a smear test & some other swabs. (I had a smear in Feb 2011 which came back normal). GP was a bit careless & contaminated my smear test so unreportable! The othe swabs were clear. Can have another one in April if I want to. The same thing happened last week after sex although this time was just a pinky discharge. Don't know whether, I've re-aggravated the tear or should I go back to GP? He also said I could have a small cervical abrasion?? Please advise, has anybody else had this or got any explanation. I spent most of 2007 at my GP's surgery & really don't want to get in that spiral again. Thanks

It does sound like cervical abrasion (I thought it before I'd even got to the bit where you said your doctor had said it!)

If you are at all concerned, then ask for another smear. There's nothing like peace of mind but your doctor doesn't seem concerned so I would imagine it's nothing.
