New Here (Health Anxiety and Panic Disorder)

Hi Everyone,

I am a 25 year old female currently not working or socializing since having panic attacks back in Oct 11 which in turn has turned my anxiety into health anxiety.

My fears at the minute are brain anursym, Cancer, blood clots and something wrong with my heart luckliy my doctor has agreed for me to see a cardiologist just waiting for my appointment.

Today is not the best as i keep getting tingling sensations in my head with a headache to top it all off so scared theres something wrong not had this symptom before.

I am hoping by being on here I can speak to people who also suffer with anxiety and panic disorder and hopefully gain and give support

Hi there , i know how your feeling , i have had all these thoughts and feelings ,i have been to see the cardiologist and he has assured me there is nothing wrong , i have a mri scan too as i too thought brain tumour , that came back all clear , i have apnic attacks and health anxiety too and i struggle on a daily basis,........but im sure we will be able to over come these thoughts and feelings , there are alot of great people on here and im sure they will all be able to talk and reassure us together ....hang in there i will over come this ....maybe we could do it together x
