Mirtazapine and Paracetamol Ok?

I just wanted to check if taking these together are okay? I've been on Mirtz for a good year or something now, and was taking Nurofen for terrible TMJ, but it's come to the point where I can't take more Ibuprofen incase of bleeding and ulcers and stuff. So the dr said to take soluble paracetamol and use Ibuleve Ibuprofen gel on my jaw. Thanks

Yes it's fine to take paracetamol alongside Mirtazapine. They are two compatable meds.

If you are ever in any doubt about taking any particular medicaiton alongside mirt, ask your pharmacist. They are very helpful in that regard.

Yes - paracetamol is safe to take with most things - as long as you don't take more than 8 in 24 hours but sure you know that - hope you feel better

I've taken it on and off whilst on Mirtazapine with no problems, it is not mentioned in the patient leaflet either, so I assume it is safe. As Belle says, your pharmacist can advise if you want a professional opinion.

I've looked into what you can and can't take with mirt. It seems to be safe with most things except alcohol. As the others have said, ring your local pharmacist. Most Boots stores have someone you can speak to. A pharmacist will probably have better knowledge of drug interactions than a doctor.
