Struggling to swallow!

When I eat it feels like my food can't go down like I can't swallow I really have to concentrate on it and panic and feel like it just won't go down....and I keep feeling like I cant swallow sliva etc or fogetting to do it....

Does any one else suffer from this? It feels like when you eat in a resturant and panic about choking so your throat tightens up

Hi katie,

Yes I have suffered with this on and off. It can be quite scary and the more I panicked the more I tried to swallow but the worse it got. I put mine down to anxiety xxx

Doctor Claire weeks as a paragraph about this in her book and she says when you have the food in your mouth just chew chew chew dont swallow it and she reckons you automatically just swallow as you chew, It's an automatic reflex. It is worth trying just dont swallow just chew chew chew

And are you still taking the prozac?
