hello ive just started taking mirtazapine ive took 1 so far n im scared 2 take anoter .ive heard so many horrible side effects.wots th main side effects u hav and does it work 4 anxiety and depression i would be greatful for sum advice pls thanks

Hi the side effects i got was vivid dreams, nausea and tiredness, what strength are you on? xx

Hi Debbie the side effects imo are quite mild compared to others - my main side effects were vivid dreams - although not frightening, and tiredness. I did come off it after 6 weeks because it was not lifting my mood. I had been on Prozac before.

Don't let that put you as we are all different and it suits many people - you do tend to get the munchies on this medication so watch out! but overall give it a try - you can always stop if it doesn't suit you.
