'Dizziness Treated at Harley Street' ???

I'm sure anyone who suffers from dizziness and has searched for answers/'cures' on the internet will have come across this hypnotherapist in Harley Street who specialises in treating dizziness. I am tempted to look into hypnotherapy, but am obviously cynical about whether it will work. Has anybody tried hypnosis for dizziness? Do u think this guy's a fraud?

Hi there, have tried hypnotherapy (but not actually for my dizziness) it was a success for me at the time, I could not keep up the appointments because of the huge fees, I live in central London, but never went to Harley Street, which I believe to be the most expensive? My fees,and this was local, were 80 pounds per session, so i think Harley Street would be a little more? As for being a con? My opinion is that if you have been recommended by someone who has been there go for it, if not check him out, i understand they have to be listed to practice, try the internet for searching registered hypnotherapists and see what happens? no rossie, i doubt he's a fraud, but you should check people out before you go to anybody, they should be members of regulatory bodies, for whatever their specialising in.

i think your right to be cynical, as expecting other people to make you better may lead to a certain amount of dissapointment. but i am not saying that alternative therapies can't help, i'm sure they can, but i don't think they will 'cure' any anxiety disorder, that's just my opinion though! good luck with it and don't part with any money until you've checked out their credentials and also maybe take someone else along for support.

Hia ive tried hypnosis but not for dizziness,for panic attacks and although it relaxed me it didnt stop then or anything.
You really need to make sure this guy is registered with all the correct degrees he needs and if you give it a go i hope it works for you.What works for one person doesnt always work for another.

hi, thanks for the replies. my uncle had hypnotherapy for migraines a long time ago and I think it worked for him so i'm gonna try and speak to him.

Hi rossie, i did exercises to help my dizziness. had vertigo for over 20 years and a lot better since i started them.
