I chucked all my pill cutters out as they were rubbish. I just use a sharp knife instead. Just make sure the knife is resting in the "groove", assuming the tablets are scored.

I can half a 5mg diazepam with my hands, works perfectly every time. Just snap it half.

    Hi Haz

Yes totally agree - have a retractable stanley knife - my husband said he will cut them. Next month want to take 75mg of a 100mg tab of Sertraline. Taking 50mg at the moment. Doctor wanted to put me 100mg straightaway but have lost a bit of faith in them (been to hell and back) doing it my way!!

Again thanks for that much appreciated.

If I were you. I would ask for 50mg tablets so you can half one of the 50mg. e.g. one full and one half = 75mg. Easy to half a 50mg as they're scored. I started off on 25mg and as they don't make 25mg tablets anymore, had to half a 50mg.

I don't believe in being dicated to by drug manufacturers either. Just because they don't make a 75mg tablet doesn't mean you can't take that dose!

    Good Luck.

    Haz.
