I usually post on the HA Forum but - despite my horrible menopause - this has been a bit better lately [fingers crossed].
It's not that I need to wail about. I can't go into details but a relationship which meant the world to me has ended. In short, I've been dumped. Very few people knew about it so I'm not able to go to other people for support and because people didn't know of my involvement, others are talking about my ex's new relationship in front of me without knowing how it's tearing me up inside. [God, this sounds like 'Dear Mariella' doesn't it?]
I know what I need to do - put it all behind me, try for emotional detachment, go out & try new things & meet new people - but at the moment I just don't feel able to walk out of my flat.
