    Nortriptyline/Zopiclone

Doc has started me on a tiny dose of Nortriptyline.

I also have Zopiclone which I take half of one of when I am really at the end of my teather from not sleeping.

I haven't had one since starting the Nortriptyline, and forgot to ask the Doc is I could take one on top of the other, anyone know or do this?

Hi James - not a professional but I would not take both imo - just the latter. Give your GP a ring to be on the safe side. Probably the Nortriptyline is a little stronger, but definitely speak to your doc. Hope that helps a bit.

    Re: Nortriptyline/Zopiclone

I have been on Zoplicone for a few months, & my rheumatologist has prescribed me Nortriptyline to use in conjunction with it for sleeping problems. I have been on them for 2 weeks now and have been suffering a lot of neck and shoulder stiffness, & constant headaches, which, while researching led me to this forum. I will be stopping both medications today so I will report back in a few days with results. I'm interested to know if you took them together & what effects it had on you. Thanx
