Excessive indegestion

Hi I have been in fluoxetine for nearly a week, for the last few days I have been getting indegestion like pain in/near my ribs any one had similar?

I'm on day 8 and I've started to get aches and pains around by my ribs, unsure whether it was the fluoxetine or not haha

Have you had any other side effects?

After a couple of days of taking 20mg of Fluoxetine I started to get terrible abdominal pains and nausea during the night and early morning. The pharmacist said I should try taking it with food. I did and the pain and nausea eased off after 4 days.

I was on fluoxetine for a few years and found if I didn't take it with food then I had bad indigestion then took hours to go!

Take them immediately before you take your first mouthful of food. The buggers can get lodged otherwise and it's uncomfortable for hours! Your whole meal should be enough to move them down though.
