Chewing Gum ..

Sounds strange but I have just discovered that chewing gum when i'm out and about seems to relieve my anxiety quite a bit. This is largely because I get so awkward and don't know what to do with my face when people are looking at me and chewing gum seems to help this somewhat.

Does anyone else feel the same?

yes im always chewing gum it helps with dry mouth too!!!!

Me too , i have 1 rescue chewing gum then top it up with normal , got a familiy size box in car , stops my lips quivering too !

It was something I did when I was younger and it certainly helped.
Years ago it was frowned upon to be chewing gum all the time but these days it is normal so if it helps you get through situations then no worries, stay with it.
Modern gum is good for the teeth too, no sugar

me too i chew gum when am out too try and calm my nerves anxiety sometimes it can help but sometimes it dont
