Anger.

i was just taken off of cipralex (escitalopram) 20mg and put onto mirtazapine 15mg. I was on cipralex for 5months they did nothing. The mirtazapine is working really well. no more anx for the week i have been on them. But i seem to have alot of anger. not out of control just really touchy and moody. Is this an SSRI withdrawal symptom? anyone else had it?

Hi GT...could be a bit of both, withdrawal and possibly side effect of new meds? I hope it doesn't last. I got very moody (amongst other things) when I tried clomipramine. Have a chat with your GP if it's worrying you.

yeah sense of humor is coming back. I think its coming off the SSRI's as they seemed to kill most emotions probably my brain trying to sort out normal emotions.
