    counting

I don't count like I used to. But I count. I can't stop. I count everything I do. Just now, I don't have to count in eights. I just have to count. The seconds it takes to chew or swallow, or think, or breath. Before I would force everything into my eight count. Now everything is just in a count. I feel uneasy when things aren't numbered. It has. To have a number! It. Has to have a beat!

    Re: counting

My Mumhas suffered with OCD and depression since I was a child, although I consider I o ly have anxiety I'm sure there's a bit of OCD in there somewhere.

I cant give you personal advise but my Mum used to count up to 9...I remember we would miss the bus when we would go out because she would turn the lightswitch on and off 9 times, cheek door handles up to 9. She also used to get upset if things would be moved in the house...say if I moved the remote from where she placed it...she would put it back whist counting in her position.

It must be really frustrating for you....

I feel bad as I used to find the thing with my mum quite amusing as a child because I didn't understand it....but I do now.

She's still the same, hope you get the answer for it

    Xxx
