how much poo for poo sample :/

i need to give a poo sample, i got my little blue lid jar with spoon, but i forgot to ask how much they wanted, there's a little domed bottom, but no "fill up to here" line as such, just ml markings on the side.

does anyone know how much is enough?, hopefully they only need a minute amount ?

....and not require me to fill it up, tehehe (yuck)

oh just a small amount - not the whole tube full. Maybe a third of it.

I had a hard time collecting mine - it made me throw up lol

whats the point in the little spoon, if you need to "shovel" loads in (relatively speaking) ?

are you sure you need 1/3rd full?

Well I wanted to give them enough to test but I am sure a smaller amount will be ok though. I wouldn't worry too much about it - just put a bit in lol

Was unsure about that one myself when it came to it. Made sure I gave them a nice little mix of bits and bobs(that is truly gross). In my enthusiasm I think I overdid the portion size though.

It's actually more of a smear test that they do so you don't need much for them to test it.

I got a pamphlet with mine full of information they say usually 1/3 full but they dont want it too full and they also want enough to be able to test it.

I hated doing it aye it was so grose at least with the wee sample its done at the doctors and you only have to give them the bowl you wee in.

Thanks for the laugh, hope you managed a third!! I collected my sample in a plastic food bowl and put a piece on with the little spatula. Certainly didn't give them a third of the bottle.
