Hysteroscopy - anyone had one?

I had this procedure done 4 weeks ago and have just got my second period a week early and it so different to my normal one.

Warning TMI coming....

I woke up last Sunday and had come on, really heavy and a week early. It was heavy all morning and bright red. It seemed to taper off early in the week but Thursday night it's back and I am still on. It's bright red so obviously fresh blood (sorry) but I'm getting worked up because it's so different to my normal like clockwork period.

I have read on Dr Google that the first period can be heavier and longer than normal but this is my second period so surely the last cycle should have been worse than this one.

Has anyone had this procedure and has it affected your cycle? I'm hoping it's just me having an odd period. I have had a really bad tummy bug at Easter so perhaps I'm out of sync. Eeek. I have enough to panic about without this adding to it!!

Hi, I had a hysteroscopy and polyp removal 3 weeks ago. My consultant told me to give it a couple of months for my periods to settle down after the procedure so it must take some time to get things back on an even keel.

I had one too ..It took me 3 months to get back to normal ....Sue x
