has anyone else had rectal pain with ibs, for 2 days now i have had pain in the rectum, its kinda sharp like and it hurts to sit down sometimes, it also hurts to fart (sorry tmi), does anyone else get this as its starting to worry me....

Sounds like an anal fissure,so you need to see a gp however you could go nto a chemist and get some suppostries for piles to see if that helps

i have an anal fissier, had it for years, but this is different more deep and sharp even when not having a poo.

Hi....i get this!!! its painful :( i suffer bad constipation with my ibs, and my gp has said its related, as did a consultant at a recent hospital appointment. Nether-the-less its advisable to seek advice from your gp if its a new/ish symptom.
