Thank You Joy.
I do have IBS as well as Crohn's so it is hard to know which causes the problem. I will have to wait and see what happens in 6 weeks I guess!
I appreciate the reply though

I always used to get loose bowels a couple of days before, and on the first day of my period also. I don't now, because since being on Cerazette I haven't had a period lol I would also always lose my appetite in the 2-3 days running up to my period.
Your Gynaecologist sounds rubbish - fancy suggesting that you're menopausal just because your period is late?! It could be anything!
Hi MM
They are doing the scan in 6 weeks as cysts can go on their own. I had one when I was ill with the Crohn's flare-up and that went on its own so they are leaving it 6 weeks to see if it has gone or not.
No idea if I will get told the blood test results before then though.

What is Crohn's disease? because sometimes when I go it feels like its on fire and it leaves my bum feeling really sore and it burns. So sorry bout the tmi.
It is an Inflammatory Bowel Disease and cannot be cured.
It sounds like you have piles and/or a fissure maybe

I dont know. He do have haemrroid cream that I asked for one time in the pharmacy but the lady laughed when I mentioned it so Ive been too embarrassed to ask for it or mention my problem again after that :(
I thought I would update my post.
I had the ovarian cyst rescanned and it has shrunk slightly.
I am now booked for a hysteroscopy on 22nd Aug.
I am totally fed up with the diarrhea and periods. I finished my last period on 19th July and now just 10 days later I have another period and have had diarrhea all week again.
It is seriously affecting my life now as I can't go far without needing a toilet and the suppositories I use are getting less effective!
I just want to get this sorted and the periods stopped so I can get some relief but I know that there is no short term solution
