I've just found out today that my mum may have pancreatic cancer. The doctors' have diagnosed a cyst on my mum's pancreas, and they've said this morning that it almost certain cancer. My mum will need major surgery to remove her pancreas, and the surgeon said that because of my mum's other serious health conditions, that she could have a heart attack or stroke during the operation, but if they decide that they can't operate on my mum because of the risks, and it is cancer, that she could only have months to live.

As you can imagine, I'm devastated. I really need a hug, and prayers for my mum.

I am sorry to hear, my mum had pancreatic cancer but her cancer for advanced. your mums could be not so far so never give up hope

Thank you for all your kindness. My mum says "where there's life there's hope". Which is true. I'm trying to hold back the tears for mum's sake. I'm sure that if I start crying I won't be able to stop. I'll try and keep you all updated.

As I'm sorry :(
But she will be in the safest place, the hospital.
They run tests before an operation and she will have her heart , breathing and blood pressure monitored the whole entire time .
There's also medication they can give you if you do have a heart attack that prevents further damage.
So even in the worst case senario there's lots they can do to keep her safe and healthy.
Look after yourself too, its soooo scary and stressful when some one you love gets sick x x
