    medication causing anxiety????

I just read that one of the side effects of my blood pressure meication is ANXIETY. I take Mavik. I remember that I did start having PA's about when I started taking Mavik. Anybody else ever heard of Blood Pressure medicine being a trigger?

    Thanks

Yeah quite a lot of medications cause anxiety and so if you have anxiety its going to make it worse, perhaps its worth going back to the docs to discuss this with him

I used to have an inhaler for a breathing disorder that I had, it was called ''Brycal'' and that really aggravated my anxiety and panic attacks, since then I have had to be extra carefull when taking any mdication.

    Take care
