hi i suffer from painc attacks and o.c.d quite badly. i get weird thoughts like has someone spiked me and i think about dirty thoughts. i ask my family if they spiked my drinks or food its getting ridiculous. i need help. im on sertraline 100mg which helps with the panic attacks but the o.c.d is not gone. any advice would be great.

Reads more like paranoia and delusions Ricky. How long have you been taking Sertraline?

Ricky do you actually believe your family are spiking your food and drinks? A delusion is something that no one can shake you out of, you believe it 100%. Or are they more panic type thoughts that you answer back and disagree with?

I agree it sounds like Pure OCD or paranoia and delusions .
Pure O is obbseive thoughts that you can't stop thinking about.
A bit like don't think about a white bear!

Then paranoia is caused by anxiety and fear that people are out to get you, you feel under threat.

Then delusions are where you fully belive people are out to hurt you, or in your case you really believe your family have drugged you despite the lack of evidence.

But I think you're just paranoid. As you came on here you have awareness that maybe your thinking is wrong n maybe you need help.

You need a therpist to help you manage your thoughts and anxiety.

No one drugged you, it's just your anxiety a d OCD making you have strange thoughts and feelings .

yes i dont know how it feels. like i know my family never would do that to me but the thoughts still go through my head i think its paranoia but i have o.c.d with liek switches counting things. i have been on sertraline for about a year now.
