cita sexual side effects in males

hi everbody
i first posted this question in another forum here but then i saw that there is a forum especially for men im posting it here because this is male-specific. i have been on citalopram for a while now and i'd like to know who of you experienced an increased sex drive after reducing the dose and, in paticular, how long it took until you felt anything.

With Citalopram I experience reduced drive and occasionally anhedonia (no orgasm despite ejaculation). But to be fair I already had those symptoms to an extent beforehand. Citalopram just made them slightly more pronounced.

It actually seems to be getting better the longer I'm on Citalopram. After 7 months I suffer anhedonia less, but it takes a few days to a week afterwards before the physical drive returns (where usually it would be like a day or two).

The mental drive is pretty much intact, which can be annoying at times!

However it actually makes sex easier, because my 'stamina' is quite a bit better
