Sunburn

I got myself sunburnt today and it's really set my anxiety sky high this evening. Yes, I should have worn sun block, I know! I'm pleased with myself for staying out so long, being agoraphobic and all, but I'll be more careful next time.

I'm not sure what I'm worried about, the sensation is making me really terrified though, like I want to peel my skin off . I am a bit worried that I've damaged myself because I feel quite ill, but I'm trying to tell myself that it's just my anxiety. My skin hasn't blistered or peeled yet, it's very pink/red though and very prickly. It's got worse through the evening, I just hope it doesn't get any worse. I've had a cold shower and put heaps of aftersun on, but it still stings and is warm to the touch. Nice and leathery looking. I'm just so uncomfortable

Will it get worse? I worry so much about having to see a doctor / go to A&E because of my agoraphobia, I'm usually so careful with my health!

Any tips / reasurrance would be great, might help me sleep tonight too.

You will be ok Hun .Keep putting the aftersun on and drink plenty of water based drinks ..Sounds pretty normal for sunburn ..T/c Luv Sue xx
