    Useful book

Hi, last year I attended the annual anxiety disorders conference in London along with some other members from this site.
Whilst there I purchased a book which has since remained under my bed, I never read it in fear i would imagine I had all the symptoms in it.
A couple of weeks ago my councellor suggested a workbook to help me with a paticular problem and because I have a "thing" with writing things down, organising things and doing lists, this book was the best, to my shock or horror it was the same book which was under my bed.
I would liike to recommend it to any of you in the same position as me,
    It is called
Overcoming Anxiety. A five areas approach by Chris Williams.
I have also worked from the depression book by Chris Williams.
It is simple, easy to read and focuses on how to help the individual. I would be interested to know of anybody else who has read or used this book,
    Take care.xxx

I just went and had a look on Amazon for this one - no reviews on it but it looks very good. I love workbooks and I think you feel a bit more interactive if you have exercises to do.

It will be interesting to see how you get on as you progress through the book. Here's a link for anyone wanting to take a look.

Hi Mandy , think you would enjoy this book, no big words lol, just down to earth.
Hi Lucy I believe you can get any book from the library, just order in advance and if not avialable they will get form nearest branch.
Hi Piglet, I certainly didnt pay what is quoted on link for it, maybe it gone up dramatically since then, It doesnt really matter what reviews say, it is a matter of opinion at end of day, I think this is great book but next person along may think it is a complete waste of time etc.
I am hoping to be finished with the team before I finish the book, or even before I go on to next work book
